You’re never going to get anything in this world if you wait for it to come to you. People WANT to help you out, but it’s not on their mind 24/7, so present them with the opportunity to do so. Even if you aren’t doing business with them yet, ASK the open-ended question:
“Who else do you know that’d benefit from having a similar intro discussion that you and I had?”
You may get it, you may not, but at least you asked and put yourself on their radar when someone does come to mind. Go get em!
